One thing I remember doing as a child was making string phones with my friends. They were so much fun and could never work out how they managed to get the sound from one cup to the other along the string. Obviously now a days phones are all cordless so the very thought of something having string or cord to make it work is alien to the young generation. What’s your favourite children’s film?

It seems that our chief toy tester, Zachary, has a favourite film already at the age of 1, and I have to say he has chosen a real classic. What is the film I hear you ask? It’s the wonderfully supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Mary Poppins. As soon as the opening credits start he is hooked. I think it’s the music mainly that he enjoys but he gets so excited when he sees Bert (the fantastic, even with his terrible accent, Dick Van Dyke).
