When I received the email I was in shock, I had to read it over 3 times to make sure it was what I had read.
I am overwhelmed to be given this award, being a small (1 woman band) independent retailer, building up the business from scratch. It is very much still in its infancy and I have so much more I would like to achieve with this business. It's not just about selling toys, it's about promoting imaginative, skill building, creative, interactive, magical play for the young (and young at heart!).
I would just like to say a huge thank you the people of The Good Toy Guide for this award (sounds like I'm at the BAFTAs) and also a HUGE huge thank you to all of you that have supported me during my journey to build this business and I hope that 2015 will be a big year for The Forgotten Toy Shop, starting with this recognition from The Good Toy Guide being just the beginning.
Lets spread the word, The Forgotten Toy Shop is here to bring the magic of childhood back to us all.
